Ben Dursch is a Realtor® with a commitment to exceptional service and the highest ethical standards. He recently completed a five year term on the Professional Standards Committee of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), where he was involved in upholding the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. Prior to that, Ben served a full three-year term on the GCAAR Grievance Committee reviewing all ethics cases and arbitration requests for Washington, DC and Montgomery County.
Ben's philosophy is to educate and empower his clients with the knowledge required to make the right decisions throughout the transaction process, from property search to settlement. For this reason he offers consultations, for both buyers and sellers, to discuss the housing market, mortgage applications, types of financing, home inspections, contract documents, and settlement procedures.
Experienced at designing architectural layouts, advising on fixtures and finishes, managing home renovations, as well as landscaping and staging, Ben consults with sellers on how to present a property for the market. He also consults with buyers who desire updates to their new homes after settlement.
In New York, prior to entering real estate, Ben had a career in promotions-marketing and internet technology for a multinational mass media-entertainment conglomerate. At that time he also worked with the Advertising Club of New York where, as a pro bono account executive, he managed promotional and advertising campaigns for non-profit organizations.
