About Ben...

Ben Dursch is a Realtor® with a commitment to exceptional service and the highest ethical standards. He recently completed a five year term on the Professional Standards Committee of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), where he was involved in upholding the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. Prior to that, Ben served a full three-year term on the GCAAR Grievance Committee reviewing all ethics cases and arbitration requests for Washington, DC and Montgomery County.

  • Ben holds the Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI®) designation, an advanced level of in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process. It is a level of credentialing that less than 15% of all agents nationwide have completed.
  • Ben is also trained as a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS®), the premier credential in seller representation from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). It is designed to elevate professional standards and enhance personal performance in professionally and ethically representing sellers.

  • In addition, Ben is trained as an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®), the NAR benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation demonstrates to peers and consumers the commitment to providing outstanding service for real estate buyers.

Ben's philosophy is to educate and empower his clients with the knowledge required to make the right decisions throughout the transaction process, from property search to settlement. For this reason he offers consultations, for both buyers and sellers, to discuss the housing market, mortgage applications, types of financing, home inspections, contract documents, and settlement procedures.

Experienced at designing architectural layouts, advising on fixtures and finishes, managing home renovations, as well as landscaping and staging, Ben consults with sellers on how to present a property for the market. He also consults with buyers who desire updates to their new homes after settlement.

In New York, prior to entering real estate, Ben had a career in promotions-marketing and internet technology for a multinational mass media-entertainment conglomerate. At that time he also worked with the Advertising Club of New York where, as a pro bono account executive, he managed promotional and advertising campaigns for non-profit organizations.
